The SBA Relationship Manager initiates new lender relationships for the organization, as well as maintaining and deepening existing relationships. The Relationship Manager is responsible to initiate new and manage existing relationships independently and always represent the organization in an impeccably professional manner. Equally important, the Relationship Manager must accurately represent and state the organization’s mission, its role in the commercial lending project and SBA loan program parameters and eligibility throughout the loan process from initial discussions through closing and servicing. Discretion and judgment are necessary in order to determine when consultation with others is required to ensure a positive outcome and excellent customer service is achieved for all parties.
Market knowledge of CDC lenders to establish relationships. SBA lending experience preferred. Commercial experience acceptable.
